Just thanking you for the wonderful pub tour Ross and I went on in Wellington (we were passengers on the Pacific sky and sat behind the bus driver). We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The Thistle Inn being the favorite - the locals being friendly and making us feel welcome.

Dear Frank:

It has taken me more years than I am willing to admit to but however, it is really something to be able to say that a man literally gave me the shirt of his back at last! Hopefully, this will give you some indication of who is sending this e-mail.

Was really crushed that the typhoon prevented the Navigator from being able to dock at Port Chalmers and so I missed a special tour in Christchurch, but your pub tour in Wellington made up for it a great deal.

Anyway Frank, the last stop was the pinnacle of the tour and I absolutely loved it. Naturally, I had photos taken and when I look at the man who did peel off that Jack Daniels tee shirt and give it to me he has the kindest eyes, which I didn't notice at the time. I certainly didn't care about his beard and long hair, I thought it was one of the nicest things that had ever happened to me.

In retrospect, I should have stuck with my intentional intention, which was to do a land tour of just New Zealand over the coming holidays.

I will keep your card and perhaps sometime in the future you can arrange a specially designed tour for me on at least North Island along adventure lines, given that I am not exactly a young woman. Just love your country and want to come back, even if it is a long way from here.
